Do you want to grow as an entrepreneur, do you have an exciting growth challenge within your startup, and would you like to spar with experienced entrepreneurs from the North? Then the Entrepreneur Mentoring Support (EMS) program would be a good fit.
Why this program?
Sometimes you know exactly where you’re headed, and sometimes you find yourself at a crossroads. That’s when it’s especially valuable to spar with someone who has already walked that path. Since 2017, EMS has been helping ambitious entrepreneurs in the Northern Netherlands move forward. The program is based on the successful Venture Mentoring Program from MIT in Boston and runs on the ‘giving back’ principle: experienced entrepreneurs volunteer their time and expertise to help you move forward, based on a challenge within your startup.
How does it work?
At EMS, you are matched with two to three experienced mentors, entrepreneurs with a proven track record and diverse expertise.
In group sessions, they will help you reflect on strategic choices for both the short and long term. They don’t just give advice; they challenge you to make clear decisions yourself. We start with an intake conversation to define the exact challenge within your business. We then pitch this challenge to our pool of mentors and create a match based on their experience and expertise. Meetings are scheduled according to your needs.
